Donnerschwee is by the outstanding stallion Donnerhall who combined a sports career at International Grand Prix level with a remarkable breeding performance which is echoed in his breeding index of 160 for dressage, 132 for showjumping and 146 overall.
He is the sire of such top class horses as Don Primero, Grading and Federal Champion in Germany and Don Schufro, who achieved an index of 150 for dressage when performance tested and finished as Champion.
